A few years ago, my friend Kevin Finnegan introduced me to the art of ambigrams–texts or logos that may be read in more than one direction. If you hadn’t noticed, my ‘Phifa’ webpage logo is such an ambigram. Shared below are a few others I’ve created since (for myself and Jania). To create them, I usually sketch ’em, scan ’em, and use Inkscape (a poor man’s open source Adobe Illustrator) to convert them into vector graphics.
